Sunborn Network, the creators behind the immensely popular Girls’ Frontline, first announced Project NET on December 27, 2024. This new mobile third-person shooter underwent its initial localized test in SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025.

The Girls’ Frontline franchise, launched in 2016, quickly gained popularity as a strategy RPG gacha game, expanding into an anime series and other games.
