Flat2VR Studios is bringing the iconic trash-talking shooter, Postal 2, to virtual reality, 22 years after its initial release. A debut trailer showcases the game's signature blend of dark humor and chaotic gameplay, following the Dude as he embarks on a signature errand-fueled rampage, gathering signatures to support the VR adaptation.
The trailer highlights key VR enhancements: redesigned shooting mechanics optimized for VR controllers, a revamped user interface, and an updated mini-map system.
The Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, providing screenshots, system requirements, and further details. PC players will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. While Russian voiceovers are unfortunately omitted, subtitles will be included.
Despite the modernizations, the core Postal 2 experience remains intact. Players will still tackle mundane tasks like grocery shopping and library book returns, but the freedom to descend into utter chaos remains a core gameplay element.
Postal 2: VR will launch on SteamVR, PS VR2, Quest 2, and Quest 3.
