Baldur's Gate 3's highly anticipated Patch #8 is on the horizon, bringing with it cross-play functionality, a dedicated photo mode, and a whopping 12 new subclasses. Larian Studios recently offered a sneak peek at four of these subclasses in a video: the enchanting Bard, the colossal Barbarian, the ominous Death Domain Cleric, and the celestial Druid of the Circle of Stars.
The community is buzzing with anticipation as stress testing continues and further sign-ups are open. While the official release date remains undisclosed, Larian keeps the excitement alive with these previews. This latest video is just Part 1 of a three-part series showcasing all 12 subclasses.
Two additional trailers are planned to reveal the remaining subclasses, allowing players ample time to prepare for the significant changes. The ongoing stress test, initiated in January, already introduced a major update including the highly requested photo mode. Patch #8, the final major patch, will mark the end of the game's post-launch development, leaving players curious about the future of Baldur's Gate 3.
