Following the March 10th update to Fields of Mistria, the path to the Fire Seal is finally open! But be warned, unlocking this powerful seal requires a specific offering: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to obtain each item.
Where to Find the Faceted Rock Gem
This rare artifact is nestled within the depths of Fields of Mistria's mines, specifically on floors 50-59. Our team found one on floor 56 after some diligent digging. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked spots on the ground—but be prepared for a bit of a grind; it's not exactly common.
Where to Find Rockroot
Rockroot is a more common find, also located within floors 50-59 of the mines. Look for a dark, root-like plant (pictured above). If you've spent any time mining, you might already have one!
Where to Find Emerald
Emeralds are the easiest of the bunch. You can find Emerald geodes throughout floors 50-59, and they're relatively common. Alternatively, break large boulders around Mistria, check Balor’s Wagon (they’re only 200 tesserae!), or craft them yourself if you've unlocked the Stone Refinery (added in the March 2025 update).
How to Get the Sealing Scroll
The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the Fire Seal. You'll need to enlist Balor's help, which requires a small payment:
- 10 Silver Ingots
- 10 Rubies
- 10 Sapphires
- 10 Emeralds
You likely have many of these materials already; if not, the mines are your best bet. Once collected, leave the items in the bin near Balor’s Wagon.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
Once you've gathered the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. The Fire Seal will open, revealing a new biome and exciting new content in Early Access.
