All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds boasts 12 secret achievements. Seven are naturally unlocked through main story progression. The remaining five, detailed below, require tackling optional objectives:

I Caught a Shooting Star!: Capture a desert creature with a star-like shine.
A Prize Held High: Capture a creature possessing an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
A Legacy Restored: Obtain a Rarity 8 Artian Weapon.

I Caught a Shooting Star!

At night, venture to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains. Equip screamer pods and target a Baunos near the gathering spots. Use the pods, then capture it with your Capture Net.

A Prize Held High

This achievement can be obtained in various locations; search tight corners and dead ends. Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest, near a small puddle, is a good starting point. Use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab. Alma will often comment when you're near a creature holding an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

A Legacy Restored

Crafting Artian gear begins in High Rank missions. Rarity 8 weapons and materials require hunting Tempered monsters using Rarity 7 gear.

Seasoned Hunter

Remember to distinguish Tempered monsters (purple outline on the minimap) from Frenzied monsters (red outline). Slaying or capturing Tempered monsters contributes to this achievement. Tempered monsters appear from Chapter 4 onwards, within High Rank content.

This achievement focuses on Apex Predators: Rey, Dau, Uth, Duna, Nu, Udra, Jin, and Dahaad.
