Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is facing yet another delay, with a new release window set for October 2025. Dive into the latest updates on the game and its ongoing journey through multiple postponements.
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back once more, now aiming for a launch in October 2025. The official announcement came via the game’s Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insight into the game’s current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been keeping the community engaged with Dev Diaries over the past few months, sharing details about characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all Dev Diaries will be paused, allowing the developers to focus on enhancing the game's overall experience.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally unveiled in March 2019, Bloodlines 2 was initially scheduled for a March 2020 release. The game was being developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time. However, in October 2019, the release was postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and later to 2021.
During this period, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and development would be handed over to The Chinese Room. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, subsequently moved to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is slated for release in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for the latest updates on the game by checking out our article below!
