May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Revealed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, featuring a diverse selection of titles that cater to various gaming preferences. The announcement, detailed in a PlayStation.Blog post, highlights six new games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, set to be available starting May 20, 2025.

Subscribers at the Extra tier will have access to an impressive total of nine new titles. Leading the pack is Sand Land, an action RPG based on the beloved manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter's enhanced version, announced for PS5 alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, is also slated for release on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains uncertain whether this offer extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, the classic title Battle Engine Aquila joins the catalog. This sci-fi action game, playable on PS4 and PS5, offers an immersive experience as players pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground.
