NCSoft's multiplayer MOBA, Battle Crush, is shutting down. This is surprising, given the game never reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access launch in June 2024, the game will cease operations soon.
Battle Crush End of Service (EOS) Date:
The game servers will be deactivated on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases are no longer available. Refunds will be issued for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.
Android and Steam users can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Download any desired game content before November 28th, 2024, as access will be terminated afterward.
The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes. Social media and Discord channels will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The sudden closure is understandably disappointing for players. While Battle Crush offered enjoyable gameplay, it fell short of expectations. Some players found the controls unresponsive and the pacing uneven. This lack of polish ultimately contributed to the decision to end service.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the November 29th shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our next article covering the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
