World of Warcraft: The War Within - Patch 11.1 Prologue and Dalaran Epilogue Guide
World of Warcraft: The War Within's narrative continues beyond the Siren Isle update. While Season 2 is anticipated in late 2025, Patch 11.0.7 introduces crucial story quests leading into Patch 11.1, centered around the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran.
Updated January 7, 2025: The recent campaign quests mark a significant turning point. Dalaran's fate, after years in Warcraft lore, is sealed in the impactful Dalaran Epilogue. This questline provides closure to a beloved social hub from Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

Accessing the Patch 11.1 Prologue ("Lingering Shadows")
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign is immediately accessible. Completion of prior campaigns isn't required. However, completing the leveling and Level 80 campaigns beforehand is recommended for optimal context. The "Lingering Shadows" questline includes:

- No Breathing Room
- Together, Alone
- The Voice
- Ringing in the Deeps
- Good Help These Days
- Hey, What's Going On?

Unlocking the Dalaran Epilogue
Previously gated for three weeks, the Dalaran Epilogue is now available (as of January 7th). To begin, complete both the leveling and Level 80 campaigns for The War Within. The Level 80 campaign unlocks upon reaching Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions.
Check Foundation Hall (where Patch 11.1 prologue quests start). If Khadgar is present after January 7th, you can receive the initial quest. His absence indicates unfinished campaign quests.
