Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale Island, offering one lucky player per match the chance to control the legendary kaiju. This guide details how to become – and defeat – Godzilla in Fortnite Chapter 6.
Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the island. Be the first to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!
Godzilla's Abilities:
As Godzilla, you'll command three devastating abilities:
- Roar: Pinpoint nearby players.
- Mighty Stomp Attack: Send opponents flying.
- Heat Ray: Unleash a powerful, damaging blast.
Defeating Godzilla:
For the 99 players who didn't become Godzilla, the challenge begins! Epic Games has strategically placed Godzilla's weak points. Focus your fire on these areas to trigger the drop of Godzilla Fragments, providing 40 health and three dash charges.
Maximize your mobility using dashes and strategically utilize the unvaulted Rail Gun (if you're lucky enough to find one) or other high-rarity weapons to inflict maximum damage. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla will earn the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Rewards:
Defeating Godzilla, even without becoming him, yields impressive rewards: the Godzilla Medallion and the Burst Quad Launcher.
