Disney Dreamlight Valley: Cheshire Cat Quest Guide

The magical world of Disney Dreamlight Valley has expanded with its free Wonderland Whimsy update, bringing two beloved characters and a new Alice in Wonderland themed Star Path. Starting April 23, players can invite Alice and begin her friendship quests immediately. The mischievous Cheshire Cat joins too, though unlocking him requires completing his special multi-stage mission.

Welcoming the Cheshire Cat

Unlike most characters, bringing the Cheshire Cat to Dreamlight Valley requires solving his disappearing act. After inviting Alice, you'll return to Wonderland to find the Cat, only for him to vanish again upon mentioning the Valley.

Follow his pawprints through the forest until they disappear near the return portal. Alice remains puzzled too - where could that grinning feline be?

Mannequin Mayhem

Your first clue appears in Scrooge's Store - a chaotic scene with a peculiar mannequin. Clear eight piles of debris while chatting with Alice (easier if she's already Level 2). Interact with the moving mannequin three times until it disappears, leaving behind a mysterious coupon.

Presenting this to Scrooge reveals new stock including the signature purple cat ears and slippers. Wear these and consult Alice, who confirms the Cheshire Cat is definitely lurking somewhere in the Valley.

Kitchen Catastrophe

From April 30, pink pawprints appear in Remy's restaurant alongside animated paintings and tilted shelves. Speak with the alarmed rat chef to begin cleaning the mess. After preparing the Cheshire Cat Tail dessert (1 Cocoa, 1 Egg, 1 Sugarcane, 1 Wheat), deliver it to Remy before investigating three stacks of paw-marked chairs outside.

Return inside to finally meet the culprit! After explaining his antics to Remy, you'll have successfully completed this stage of the unlock process.

Tree Trouble

Moana reports strange happenings with the local fish population. Photograph the unusual catfish on her boat before catching five more in golden bubbles at Dazzle Beach. Present these to Alice, who directs you to the Cheshire Cat inside her home.

After some amusing banter, photograph the miniature tree painting in Alice's bedroom. Place the resulting tree anywhere in the Valley to finally welcome this mischievous character properly.

Cheshire Cat's Friendship Quests

Furniture Fiasco (Level 2)

The Cat's first proper quest involves some chaotic furniture swapping between villagers' homes. You'll need to:

• Remove mismatched items from Aladdin and Jasmine's house
• Track down owner Daisy to recover her furnishings
• Find Wall-E to complete the exchange
• Craft replacement items (8 Fiber + 1 Purple Rising Penstemon for Pretty Pillow, etc.)

Absolute Nonsense (Level 4)

Host a Wonderland-style apology party by:

• Preparing bizarre foods (Garlic Chocolate Tart and Tea Sandwiches)
• Building a Cheshire Cat Smile Balloon Arch (25 Coal, 25 Snow, etc.)
• Creating a deliberately clashing outfit
• Inviting key villagers to the celebration

The Deconstruction Device (Level 7)

Experiment with the Cat's unconventional crafting ideas:

• Create and destroy Three Wildly Jubilant Topiaries
• Repeat with balloon arches
• Collect Blue Mushroom Spores from Wonderland
• Build the revolutionary Uncrafting Station (17 Glass, 28 Mushroom, etc.)

Cheshire's Treasure Hunt (Level 10)

Solve riddles to uncover hidden treasures:

• Interpret the Cat's mysterious notes
• Gather special ingredients (Spoiled Milk, White Rose)
• Explore secret castle passages
• Create the "Cheshire Cat Concoction" (2 Spoiled Milk, 1 Catfish, etc.)
• Fish up the final reward chest in Frosted Heights
