The Premise

The game casts players as exiled citizens banished by the Dwarven King to perilous forbidden lands. The challenge? Keeping a colony of disgruntled dwarves alive and building a prosperous settlement in a hazardous environment.

Gameplay Overview

Players oversee a dwarven settlement and its inhabitants, assigning work, gathering resources, crafting tools, and upgrading the settlement to accommodate a growing population. However, maintaining an optimal population size is crucial; an overcrowded settlement will prevent new dwarves from joining, even after successful quest completions.

Each dwarf possesses unique stats (perception, strength, etc.) influencing their job performance. Strategic equipment assignment based on these stats is key to maximizing productivity. A diverse range of occupations—miners, crafters, and more—allows for specialized workforce management. Furthermore, players can assign child dwarves to mentors for accelerated stat growth, though these young dwarves won't contribute until they reach adulthood (age 20).

While quests offer one method of recruitment, players can also hire dwarves using in-game coins. Maintaining sufficient food supplies is vital to prevent starvation, and deceased dwarves conveniently return their equipment to the player's inventory.
