EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025
Get ready, EA Play subscribers! February 2025 marks the departure of two popular titles from EA's subscription service. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify a complete shutdown of the games themselves; online multiplayer functionality may persist for some time. However, EA Play members should take advantage of these titles before they're gone.
This isn't the only change coming to EA's offerings. UFC 3's online services will cease operation on February 17th. While the game's availability on EA Play after this date remains unconfirmed, its core online features will be unavailable.
Games Leaving EA Play:
- Madden NFL 23 – February 15th
- F1 22 – February 28th
While the loss of these games is regrettable, EA Play subscribers can still enjoy newer installments in these franchises. Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 will remain available, and UFC 5 is even joining the lineup on January 14th. This influx of newer titles should partially offset the removal of the older games. The evolving nature of subscription services means such changes are inevitable, but the ongoing addition of fresh content helps mitigate the impact.
