Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th
The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. However, this initial beta will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in the Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. The full game is slated for a 2025 release. This network test serves as a crucial pre-launch trial.
While registration opens on January 10th via the official website, the number of available spots remains undisclosed. Participants can expect confirmation emails no later than February 2025, the planned month for the test itself. Specific dates will be revealed shortly.
How to Register for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test:
- Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
- Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
- Await your confirmation email.
- Participate in the test during February 2025.
Platform Limitations and Other Details:
This beta's exclusion of PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms is noteworthy, representing less than half of the game's planned release platforms. Cross-platform play is not supported in Elden Ring Nightreign, meaning the network test will also be console-specific.
Progress made during the beta likely won't transfer to the final game. Future betas are possible, but unconfirmed.
Elden Ring Nightreign features a unique network limitation: only solo or three-player parties are supported; two-player parties are not balanced. Whether the network test will include further gameplay restrictions is yet to be determined.
