Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is launching a closed beta on Android and PC! Netmarble's action-adventure title, based on George R.R. Martin's books and the HBO series, offers a unique Westeros experience.
The closed beta begins January 15th and runs until the 22nd in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Android sign-ups are open now!
Unlike previous Game of Thrones mobile games, Kingsroad focuses on a single character's journey. Players inherit the obscure House Tyre and embark on a quest across Westeros, battling enemies and gaining prestige. The game features a Witcher-esque third-person perspective, exploration, and combat. Players can choose from three classes: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin.
Winter is coming (or is already here)! Register for the closed beta before January 12th! While visually impressive, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will undoubtedly face intense scrutiny. Though the peak of Game of Thrones' popularity may have passed, a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaits a truly immersive game.
Monetization strategies and long-term support will be key factors determining the game's success. However, if Netmarble delivers, they could satisfy the desires of Game of Thrones enthusiasts.
