Tekken 8 Season 2: Anna Williams Arrives, Future Fighters and Stages Revealed!
Bandai Namco has dropped a sizzling trailer for Tekken 8's Season 2, starring the iconic Anna Williams. The trailer highlights her updated moveset, fresh character skins, and a special intro cinematic – featuring a unique cutscene if her sister, Nina, is the opponent.
Anna Williams will debut as the first Season 2 character on March 31st for Character Year 2 Pass holders. General release for all players is slated for April 3rd.
Beyond Anna, the trailer teases a roadmap of exciting content planned for 2025 and early 2026:
- Summer 2025: A new fighter and a new arena.
- Fall 2025: A new fighter.
- Winter 2025/2026: A new fighter and a new arena.
In other news, Bandai Namco proudly announced that Tekken 8 has already surpassed 3 million copies sold! This impressive sales figure significantly outpaces the initial launch of its predecessor, which boasts over 12 million copies sold to date.
Tekken 8 launched on January 26th, 2024, and is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
