Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery's 2024 Halloween update has arrived, bringing a spooky celebration to Hogwarts! Throughout October and November, players can enjoy a Dark Arts-themed event featuring new locations, eerie activities, and a festive makeover of the game's environment.

A Spooky Hogwarts Awaits

The Halloween spirit is immediately apparent in Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Castle, both adorned with spooky decorations. This year's Halloween also introduces several new spooky locations to explore.

A House-themed pumpkin hunt offers magical rewards leading up to October 31st. Additionally, a thrilling Creature Expedition challenges players to confront the fearsome Acromantula.

New Creatures and Challenges

The Swooping Evil, a terrifying creature from "Fantastic Beasts," makes its debut in a special adventure. This brain-eating menace has infiltrated Hogwarts Castle, requiring players to assist Hagrid in capturing it before it causes harm.

A new side quest, "The Vampire of Hogsmeade," introduces vampires lurking near Hogwarts, prompting Professor Dumbledore to temporarily close Hogsmeade. Players must unlock the One-Eyed Witch statue and unravel the mysteries hidden within the fog.

Introducing the Hogwarts Diary

A new feature, the Hogwarts Diary, adds a unique puzzle element. Players solve puzzles by participating in various in-game activities. Completing diary sections reveals artwork through magical inkwells, gradually unveiling a captivating overarching story.

The initial task involves assisting Madam Pince in the library to locate the Lost Spore Scrolls, penned by Professor Phyllida Spore, a former headmistress. These scrolls hold the secrets of Hogwarts' magical fungi.
