Zynga's Custom Street Racer 2 (CSR2) is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future with a time-traveling crossover event!
CSR2: A Trip Back to the Future
Starting now, players can get behind the wheel of the iconic DeLorean Time Machine from the original film. While it lacks performance boosts or special abilities, the fully drivable car is a highlight of this exciting collaboration. But that's not all! CSR2 offers a complete Back to the Future themed experience.
This immersive crossover includes a film-inspired in-game UI, a fresh narrative storyline, and multiple themed events. Three flash events centered around the DeLorean are planned, along with a community competition. Zynga has confirmed additional themed events throughout the year, making this a long-lasting update. Currently, CSR2 is hosting social media quizzes with prizes; check their channels for details.

No 1955 Time Travel (Sadly!)
While the game doesn't offer time travel to 1955 (or 1999, for that matter), this CSR2 x Back to the Future collaboration is truly unique. The chance to virtually drive the legendary gull-winged DeLorean is thrilling in itself.
Zynga's VP of Games, Sam Cooper, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, calling the DeLorean one of history's most recognizable and beloved movie cars. He expressed excitement about letting players experience the car virtually while celebrating the film's anniversary.
