Insomniac Games, the acclaimed studio behind iconic franchises like Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet & Clank, and Marvel's Spider-Man, is embarking on a new chapter. Founder and CEO Ted Price, having proactively planned for succession, has announced his retirement, handing the reins to a seasoned leadership team.

This new leadership structure features a three-person CEO model, each with distinct areas of focus:

  • Jen Huang: Will spearhead the company's strategic direction, overseeing partner collaborations and operational efficiency. Huang highlights teamwork and collaborative problem-solving as core to Insomniac's continued success.

  • Chad Dezern: Will lead the creative and development divisions, ensuring the ongoing production of high-quality games and charting their long-term vision. His priority is upholding Insomniac's renowned standards of excellence.

  • Ryan Schneider: Will manage external communications, fostering strong relationships with PlayStation Studios and partners like Marvel. He will also drive technological advancements within the studio and actively engage with the player community.

Development on Marvel's Wolverine continues apace. While Dezern acknowledges it's premature to discuss specifics, he assures fans the project is progressing to meet Insomniac's rigorous quality standards.
