The official announcement of a GUNDAM TCG has sent ripples of excitement through the Gundam fanbase! A promotional video posted on the official GUNDAM TCG X (formerly Twitter) account on September 27th launched the “new global TCG project #GUNDAM.” This announcement coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary, commemorating 45 years since the original series debuted. Whether the game will be solely physical or include an online component remains to be seen.

Complete details are scheduled for release on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement livestream on the official Bandai YouTube channel. Popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi, will be present. Hongo's participation is especially noteworthy given his passion for GUNPLA, highlighted in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project.
