Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Series producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, top-tier game that meets fan expectations.
Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, stated their commitment: "We are dedicating significant resources to completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in 2025." He emphasized that the remake is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on polishing details and enhancing overall quality.
While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 release, those plans were ultimately revised. Sources within the studio now indicate a 2025 launch. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura promised new features designed to elevate the player experience.
Konami unveiled a compelling Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. Clocking in at over two minutes, the trailer showcased key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, an exhilarating airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
