Konosuba: End of Service, Offline Version Incoming

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days to Conclude Service in January 2025

The popular mobile RPG, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, developed by Sesisoft, will be ending its service on January 30th, 2025. Both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously after a nearly five-year run. However, developers are planning a limited offline version, allowing players to revisit the main storyline, key quests, and events. Further details on this offline version are yet to be revealed.

In-App Purchases and Refunds

In-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. Official channels will close on February 28th, 2025. Players can still utilize existing in-game Quartz and items until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025.

A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days

Initially launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game based on the KonoSuba franchise. The game's charming narrative, appealing visuals, and visual novel-style story mode were well-received. However, like many gacha RPGs, it ultimately faced closure, a trend seen with several anime-based games this year due to challenges maintaining player engagement and high production costs.

While its time is coming to a close, players still have a few months left to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days before the servers shut down. The game is available on the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our article on Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild.
