Access requires a Premium account, so it may not be the free experience some hoped for. This beta release, however, should significantly increase the flow of information regarding the mobile version of this established MMO.
For those unfamiliar, Second Life, a precursor to the metaverse concept, is an MMO emphasizing social interaction rather than combat or exploration.
Players create and live as customized avatars, engaging in various activities from mundane routines to elaborate role-playing scenarios. Launched in 2003, Second Life popularized concepts like social gaming and user-generated content.
A Late Entry?
