A Modern Revival of a 90s Classic

Metal Slug: Awakening breathes new life into the iconic run-and-gun series. Initially revealed in 2020 as Metal Slug Code: J by TiMi Studios, the game has undergone some development and name changes. Following its successful Southeast Asia release in late 2023, it's finally ready for a worldwide launch.

For the uninitiated, Metal Slug is a legendary Japanese run-and-gun franchise that debuted in 1996, created by Nazca Corporation and later expanding into a multimedia phenomenon. While previous mobile entries like Metal Slug Defense (2014), Metal Slug Attack (2016), and Metal Slug Commander (2020) existed, Awakening promises a significant upgrade.

Updated Gameplay and Features

Awakening stays true to the original formula with its classic shooter mechanics, but boasts enhanced graphics and innovative gameplay features. Rejoin your favorite Metal Slug characters in brand-new missions.
