Monster Hunter Now Announces Sea of Monsters Summer 2025

Niantic reveals exciting updates for Monster Hunter Now's upcoming Sea of Monsters event, part of Summer Hunt 2025. Prepare to battle the formidable Elder Dragon Namielle, making its grand debut in the game.

Namielle Is Definitely Special

This awe-inspiring creature cloaks itself in water while conducting powerful electrical currents, creating devastating explosions that can obliterate careless hunters. Its unique biology includes specialized electricity-producing organs. To successfully hunt Namielle, you'll need to exploit its vulnerabilities to fire, poison, and blast damage.

Brave hunters can participate in Elder Dragon Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons featuring Namielle from July 26th to 27th. Purchasing an event ticket unlocks premium benefits like instant access to subsequent special hunts without cooldowns and exclusive Namielle Interceptions.

These perks let you challenge the new Elder Dragon repeatedly without delays. Ticket holders also receive exclusive layered armor inspired by Namielle's striking appearance.

The adventure begins earlier with Monster Hunter Now Summer Hunt 2025: Seaside Vacation starting July 21st. This precursor event lets players craft powerful weapons and armor boosted with enhanced stats and special abilities.

The Highlight in Monster Hunter Now Sea of Monsters Is the Weapons

Crafters can use Namielle materials to forge potent water-element weapons across various classes including Sword & Shield, Long Sword, Hunting Horn, Lance, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, and Bow.

The accompanying Tentacle Set armor grants the unique Namielle Electrowave skill, providing thunder resistance while amplifying your weapon's water elemental power.
