Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Don't fret! A second chance arrives in early February, bringing new monsters and content. Here's how to join the hunt!
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Part 2: A New Hunt Begins
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a second Open Beta Test on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel, offering another opportunity to experience the game before its February 28th launch.
This second beta runs in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, hunt the returning Gypceros!
Character data carries over from the first beta and transfers to the full game (but not progress!). Beta participants receive rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a special bonus item pack for the full game.
Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, citing player requests. While recent pre-launch updates were detailed in a separate YouTube video, these improvements won't be in this beta phase.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Get ready to hunt!
