For most people, the standard iPad (not the Air, Mini, or Pro) is the best choice, offering all the benefits of iOS and snappy performance at a budget-friendly price. The current generation model, released on March 12, 2025, comes over two years after the previous generation (October 2022). The upgrades include a more powerful A16 processor (versus the A14), increased RAM from 4GB to 6GB, and doubled storage from 64GB to 128GB. Remarkably, the launch price of $349 is lower than the previous model's $399.

The features that remain consistent are the 10.9" Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360x1640 (264ppi), USB Type-C charging, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and the same camera setup. It's also compatible with the Magic Folio keyboard, turning it into a mini laptop for enhanced productivity, making it ideal for students, and it supports the newer Apple Pencil with USB-C.

$100 Off the New 2025 Apple iPad Air (M3)

Amazon is currently offering the 7th generation Apple iPad Air with M3 chips at the lowest prices we've seen. The 11" model is available for $499, and the 13" model for $699, both with a $100 instant discount. This is the best deal yet for the 2025 model equipped with the M3 chip. Released in March, this current generation model is only one year newer than the 6th gen, with the primary upgrade being the transition from the M2 to the M3 chip.

Starting this week, Amazon is offering the current generation Apple iPad Mini (A17 Pro) for just $399.99 after a $100 discount. Released in October 2024, this iPad Mini boasts significant improvements, including the more powerful A17 Pro processor, doubled base storage capacity, updated Wi-Fi 6e protocol, a USB Type-C port for faster charging, and compatibility with the newer Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB-C), and Apple Intelligence.
