The reveal trailer highlighted Ryu Hayabusa's return as the protagonist, navigating a visually stunning cyberpunk city perpetually drenched in toxic rain. Ninja Gaiden 4 introduces innovative gameplay mechanics, including swift traversal using wires and rails, as demonstrated in the gameplay footage. Players will confront waves of genetically modified soldiers and terrifying creatures from another realm, all while striving to break an ancient curse plaguing the sprawling megacity.
Adding to the excitement, a significant remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2 was also unveiled. Already available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S (and included in Game Pass), this updated version leverages the power of Unreal Engine 5. Team Ninja has meticulously overhauled character models, visual effects, and environments, incorporating elements from later installments in the series, and even adding three new playable characters.
