TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge has made its exciting debut on mobile devices. While it initially launched as a Netflix exclusive in June 2023, Playdigious has now released a standalone version for Android, eliminating the need for a Netflix subscription.

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge: A ‘Turtle Heroes Beat ‘Em Up’ on Mobile

This mobile edition of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge comes packed with the full game, featuring all the content and capabilities of the original release. It includes the Dimension Shellshock and Radical Reptiles DLCs right out of the box.

For fans of the '80s TMNT series, Shredder’s Revenge offers a nostalgic journey back in time. It maintains the classic side-scrolling, arcade-style gameplay and boasts a stunning retro pixel art aesthetic.

However, the game doesn't cling to outdated mechanics. The combat system has been enhanced, allowing players to execute complex ninja combos and participate in cooperative team attacks.

The entire TMNT crew is available in Shredder’s Revenge. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are joined by April O’Neil, Master Splinter, and Casey Jones, all of whom are playable characters.

What’s the Setting?

The adventure begins with Bebop and Rocksteady wreaking havoc at Channel 6 and stealing mysterious technology. Players then battle through 16 stages, each inspired by iconic TMNT locations, confronting classic villains such as Baxter Stockman and the Triceraton along the way.

Playdigious has published the game, with development and backend support provided by Nickelodeon, Tribute Games, and Dotemu. The full version is currently available at a launch discount of $7.99, down from the regular price of $8.99. You can find it on the Google Play Store.
