Building on their wildly successful NO LIMIT! Parade, Universal Studios Japan and The Pokémon Company are making a bigger splash than ever this season. The reimagined Summer Splash Parade transforms the park into a watery playground where guests can cool off with their favorite Pokémon characters.
This dynamic partnership, which began in 2021 as a "creative alliance," continues to push boundaries in theme park entertainment. The original parade already wowed visitors with spectacular floats featuring Charizard, Pikachu and other fan favorites. This summer's upgraded version takes the experience to new depths with aquatic surprises at every turn.
But Pokémon aren't the only stars making waves. The parade features a dream team of characters from Super Mario, Despicable Me, and other beloved franchises - all ready to drench excited visitors.
Thrill-seekers can head straight to the "360° Soak Zone" for nonstop aquatic action. The specially designed area lets you trade watery volleys with performers and fellow park guests (courtesy of provided Water Shooters - personal water guns aren't allowed for safety reasons). It's the perfect way to beat those sweltering Japanese summer days.
The fun continues beyond the parade route with exclusive summer treats like the spectacular "Gyarados Whirling Smoothie," served in an oversized cup featuring the fearsome water Pokémon.
