Get ready for some serious sparkle! Pokémon TCG Pocket is about to get a dazzling update with the arrival of Shiny Pokémon! The Pokémon Company has announced that Shiny versions of beloved Pokémon are joining the digital card game with the launch of the Shining Revelry expansion.
When Do Shiny Pokémon Arrive in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
The Shining Revelry expansion launches on March 27th, 2025, bringing over 110 new cards to the game. This includes Shiny versions of popular Pokémon like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. The digital format will even make these Shiny Pokémon shimmer when you tilt your device! A Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder will also be available starting April 1st.
Beyond the Shiny Pokémon, Shining Revelry also introduces Pokémon and Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, featuring cards with Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono. New ex Starter Deck missions will run from March 28th to April 27th, offering the chance to earn a deck ticket redeemable for one of nine starter decks. Prepare for battle! Ranked matches are coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket, kicking off their first season on March 28th and running until April 27th, featuring Shining Revelry cards. You’ll be matched against players of similar skill levels, earning an emblem to display on your profile based on your final rank at the end of the season.
