Pokémon Go Unveils $100 Ticket for Premium Toilet Access

Authore: AndrewUpdate:May 21,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced an exciting new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, enhancing the experience with both in-game perks and improved real-world facilities. This year's Go Fest, the game's flagship summer event, will be hosted at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For attendees of the Jersey City event, Niantic has rolled out this premium upgrade, offering a suite of exclusive benefits.

The $100 Premier Access add-on provides access to a special lounge, akin to a Business Class experience at the event. This exclusive area promises "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While details on the restroom upgrades remain sparse, the emphasis is on enhancing comfort and convenience for those who opt for this luxury.

Another key advantage of Premier Access is fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, enabling you to bypass long queues and maximize your playtime. This is particularly beneficial as the store is typically bustling, and waiting in line can significantly cut into your time to explore and catch Pokémon.

The highlight of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive collection of in-game items it includes. With 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and more, this package could otherwise cost players up to $300 if purchased separately. Here's a comprehensive list of the in-game items you'll receive:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge, adding a collectible element to the upgrade.

Reactions to this premium offer have been mixed. Some players feel that this is a new level of monetization for Pokémon Go, as the game increasingly introduces more ways to spend. On the other hand, many appreciate the value of the in-game items provided, seeing it as a worthwhile investment for those with the budget, especially after already committing to travel and entry costs for Go Fest.

IGN has reached out to Niantic for clarification on whether this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will spotlight the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader availability of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
