How to Start "Thrown to the Dogs" in Assassin's Creed Shadows
The pre-order bonus is tied to a quest called "Thrown to the Dogs." This quest becomes available after you gain control of Naoe and access the open world for the first time.
Follow the quest marker on your map to locate a dog. Follow the dog to a farm. You'll need to find a key hidden under a house. Once you have the key, return to the dog's initial location. After this, you'll befriend the dog, completing the quest.
If you're having trouble finding the key, look for a small crawlspace beneath the house. Naoe can crawl into this space to retrieve the key. It's easily missed, so keep a sharp eye out.
Your Assassin's Creed Shadows Pre-order Bonuses
Completing "Thrown to the Dogs" unlocks your pre-order bonuses:
- Tsuki-maru as a pet at your Hideout
- 1,000 XP
While these bonuses might seem modest—Tsuki-maru is primarily a cute companion at the Hideout—the 1,000 XP is a significant boost early in the game, providing several Mastery Points. Remember, you still need to rank up your Knowledge to unlock additional skills.
