RuneScape's newest challenge, the Gate of Elidinis, has arrived! This thrilling new story quest and skilling boss fight tasks players with restoring the corrupted statue of Elidinis, a once-sacred relic now threatened by Amascut's influence.
Continuing the fight against Amascut's corruption, following the events of ‘Ode of the Devourer,’ Gate of Elidinis offers fresh gameplay and familiar themes.
Confronting the Corruption
The Gate of Elidinis, once a sacred passage for the departed, is now a haunt for lost souls trapped in Amascut's grasp. Players must face the Gate of Elidinis boss, either solo or with up to nine allies. Before engaging in combat, preparation is key: mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are crucial to combating the corruption. Strong Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility skills are essential for cleansing the statue fragments and repelling Amascut's power. Check out the official update announcement below!
Rewarding the Valiant
Victory at the Gate of Elidinis yields significant rewards. Players can acquire valuable new skilling and combat equipment, including the Runecrafting Off-Hand ‘Runic Attunement’ and the Divination Off-Hand ‘Memory Locus.’ A new Combat Prayer, a fresh God Book, and an adorable new boss pet, Edie, are also up for grabs. The Gate of Elidinis Hunt event provides additional opportunities for loot, allowing players to collect shards and complete tasks to unlock cosmetic overrides and temporary buffs with the assistance of the Priestesses of Elidinis.
