Following Ubisoft's 2021 re-release of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, the creators behind TMNT: Shredder's Revenge are developing an all-new Scott Pilgrim title. Titled Scott Pilgrim EX, this fresh installment will launch on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch in early 2026.
Scott Pilgrim EX presents a completely new adventure crafted in partnership with original comic creator Bryan Lee O'Malley. This four-player cooperative beat 'em up retains the series' signature retro aesthetic while introducing an original storyline. Players can choose between Scott, Ramona, and five other characters as they battle demons, robots, and other foes across a reimagined version of Toronto.
The game features a brand-new soundtrack by Anamanaguchi, pixel art contributions from renowned artist Paul Robertson, and creative input from Scott Pilgrim Takes Off director BenDavid Grabinski.
This marks only the second original Scott Pilgrim game since Ubisoft's 2010 release, excluding the 2021 remaster. Developer Tribute Games is a Montreal-based studio founded by ex-Ubisoft employees, including several team members who contributed to the original title.
