Shoe Restoration and Acquisition in KCD2 Revealed

Authore: SebastianUpdate:Feb 23,2025

Maintaining footwear is crucial in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes, ensuring you're never caught wandering barefoot.

Acquiring Shoes:

While you begin with a pair, replacement options abound. Loot chests, fallen poachers, and other enemies often yield new footwear. Alternatively, purchase shoes from vendors. Tailors offer shoes, but cobblers provide superior quality options. Locate a cobbler (identified on the map by a symbol resembling three red circles) – one is available early in Trosky.

Cobblers, like Matthew in Trosky, sell various goods beyond shoes, including horse equipment, blacksmith's kits, and cobbler's kits.

Shoe Repair:

Repairing shoes involves two methods:

  1. NPC Repair: Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services. The cost varies, influenced by your Craftsmanship skill level and associated perks, which grant repair discounts.

  2. Self-Repair: This relies on your Craftsmanship skill. Insufficient skill prevents self-repair. A Cobbler's Kit is required for self-repair. These kits are purchased from cobblers, blacksmiths, or found in chests and enemy loot. Access the kit in your inventory, select damaged items (faded items indicate insufficient skill), and repair them.

Blacksmith's Kits function similarly for repairing non-shoe equipment. While vendor repairs are convenient, self-repair, when possible, offers cost savings. Maintaining your gear is essential for a successful journey.
