Sims can hone their tattooing skills, designing and applying custom tattoos in their own studio, with advanced skill levels unlocking more intricate designs. Pottery allows Sims to craft and sell unique clay creations, from vases to tableware, using a pottery wheel and kiln.

A novel Business Perk system lets players choose a business approach:
- Dreamer: Focus on creativity and customer satisfaction, potentially sacrificing profit.
- Schemer: Prioritize profit, even if it means cutting corners.
- Neutral: Strive for a balance between fulfillment and financial success.
Each strategy offers unique gameplay and interactions.
New Location: Nordhaven
The expansion introduces Nordhaven, a vibrant coastal town brimming with artistic energy, scenic views, and ideal locations for businesses and hobbies.
