The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card was officially launched on April 16, marking its entry as the most budget-friendly option in the Blackwell series. However, the launch turned out to be a "paper" release, with retail units scarce and often available only at significantly inflated prices. On the brighter side, for those in search of a complete prebuilt gaming PC featuring this new GPU, the situation is much more promising. There's a good selection of reasonably priced prebuilt gaming PCs currently on the market. The two most affordable options we've spotted are from Skytech, available on Amazon, starting at just $1,249.99. This price point is quite competitive for a modern gaming setup capable of handling 1080p and 1440p gaming.

The RTX 5060 Ti is the next generation after the RTX 4060 Ti, offering a performance boost of approximately 15-20% in games. This improvement is notably higher than the generational leap seen in the RTX 5070 over the RTX 4070. From a value standpoint, the RTX 5060 Ti stands out as the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming, and it's also well-equipped to handle 1440p gaming, particularly when enhanced by DLSS 4. Although the RTX 5070 is more powerful, prebuilt systems featuring it start at a much steeper price of $1,700 to $1,800. For gamers focusing on 1440p or lower resolutions, the cost difference may not justify the upgrade.

GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun)

"The RTX 5060 Ti upholds the esteemed tradition of the XX60 Ti series, delivering smooth performance at 1440p while remaining relatively budget-friendly. Compared to the pricier RTX 5070, it makes a more significant push in improving native-resolution, pre-DLSS frame rates from the previous 40 series.

We can confidently consider the RTX 5060 Ti as one of the standout RTX 50 series graphics cards, and the go-to choice for budget-conscious gamers aiming for at least 1440p performance."
