Netflix Unveils Devil May Cry Anime Opening Trailer, Featuring Limp Bizkit

Following the announcement of the Devil May Cry anime's premiere date, Netflix dropped the series' electrifying opening trailer. Set to the iconic Limp Bizkit track "Rollin'," the trailer showcases dynamic action sequences featuring a young Dante, Lady, and the enigmatic White Rabbit, peppered with nods to the game franchise.

Showrunner Adi Shankar elaborated on his vision for the anime's future. The series, set in the late 90s and early 2000s, will feature a soundtrack reflecting the era's musical landscape. Beyond Limp Bizkit, expect other period-defining tracks, alongside a synthwave remix of the game's soundtrack courtesy of Power Glove.

Shankar hinted at a multi-season arc, promising diverse visual styles and soundtracks for future installments to mirror the variety within the Devil May Cry game series.

Plot specifics remain under wraps, but the first season is anticipated to adapt elements from the Code 1: Dante manga (based on Devil May Cry 3), focusing on a young Dante investigating a child's disappearance. This investigation will confront Dante with his past, family, and the legacy of his demonic father, Sparda.

The 8-episode first season premieres April 3, 2025.
