VolleyBall King brings fast-paced arcade volleyball to iOS and Android, out now

VolleyBall King, a vibrant new take on classic volleyball, is now available on iOS and Android. Choose from a diverse roster of anime-inspired characters and unleash powerful spikes reminiscent of Haikyuu!!. With a variety of arenas and engaging minigames, VolleyBall King offers a substantial amount of content to keep you entertained.

This exciting new release follows closely on the heels of my review of Pocket Hockey Stars, offering another compelling arcade sports experience. But instead of ice, we're heading to the volleyball court!

Volleyball boasts a surprisingly rich history in anime and manga, rivaling even martial arts and fantasy genres in popularity. Titles like Haikyuu!! and Attack No. 1 have cemented its place in pop culture, and VolleyBall King aims to capture that same energetic, almost superhuman style of play.

The game's unique control scheme, showcased in the trailer, allows for quick left-right movement, dives, jumps, and spectacular, effect-laden spikes. While the QWOP-esque animation might initially seem unusual, the sheer enthusiasm and variety of characters and arenas more than compensate.
