World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token for every 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.

The WoW 20th-anniversary event, concluding after 11 weeks, allowed players to acquire numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens could previously be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.

Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will not be used again, prompting this automatic conversion to prevent unused tokens from cluttering players' inventories. This conversion maintains the 1:20 exchange rate used during the event.

While a precise release date for Patch 11.1 is unavailable, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and following the conclusion of the Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events. This means the conversion will likely occur after the Turbulent Timeways event ends.

Timewarped Badges, the conversion product, remain usable in future Timewalking events, ensuring players aren't losing potential rewards. Players are advised to log in after Patch 11.1's release to claim their converted badges.
