Watch Predator Movies: Chronological Order Guide

Authore: MichaelUpdate:Apr 09,2025

Humans like to think they're at the top of the food chain, but in the vast expanse of the galaxy, we're just barely holding our own in the cosmic gladiator arena. The Predator franchise, which kicked off with the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger film in 1987, introduces us to the "Yautja"—towering, trophy-hunting aliens from space who roam the universe in search of worthy prey. These fearsome hunters not only seek out new worlds for their deadly sport but have also been known to abduct species for hunts back on their home planet.

The first two Predator films, released in 1987 and 1990, laid the foundation for this thrilling saga. As the Xenomorphs from the Alien series posed another existential threat to humanity, it was a natural progression in the 2000s to merge these universes with the Alien vs. Predator crossover films. Over the following years, directors like Robert Rodriguez, Shane Black, and Dan Trachtenberg brought their unique visions to the franchise, enriching its lore and expanding its universe.

With two new Predator movies slated for release in 2025, now is the perfect time to dive back into the original sci-fi classics. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a newcomer to the series, we've got you covered with a complete timeline of the Predator movies and where you can watch them online.
