Xbox Game Pass Losing 6 Games Today, Including 3 Great Multiplayer Titles

Six Xbox Game Pass titles are departing on January 15th, primarily around midnight local time. This includes Exoprimal and Escape Academy, impacting subscribers who rely on the service for multiplayer games, as half the departing titles fall into this category.

The Xbox Game Pass catalog typically sees games removed mid-month and at month's end. The previous removal occurred on December 31st. This latest wave affects six games: Escape Academy, Those Who Remain, Exoprimal, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Figment: Journey Into the Mind, and Common'hood.

Escape Academy's Continued Availability

US subscribers have approximately 18 hours remaining to play these titles at the time of writing. This is sufficient time for shorter games like Figment and Those Who Remain.

The next batch of removals is anticipated on January 31st, with announcements expected alongside the January 2025 Wave 2 additions. Confirmed day-one releases for that wave include Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Further updates are anticipated around January 23rd, coinciding with the 2025 Xbox Developer Direct.
