Xbox Game Pass January 2025: New Games and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some upcoming departures. The January additions include a mix of genres, catering to a wide range of player preferences.

The highlight is undoubtedly the arrival of Diablo, though this will be exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Another major addition, UFC 5, will be a Game Pass Ultimate exclusive. These titles, alongside Road 96, Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills, significantly bolster the service's January offerings. Road 96 is available immediately (January 7th), with most others arriving on January 8th, and UFC 5 and Diablo launching on January 14th.

This announcement follows Microsoft's earlier reveal of significant changes to the Game Pass structure, including updated age restrictions and revised rewards systems. These changes are already live, coinciding with the new game additions.

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks are also available, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
