Zelda: Functional Cruiser Built by Gamer

A remarkably creative Tears of the Kingdom player has engineered a fully functional Zonai cruiser. Players have already crafted everything from simple rafts to remote-controlled aircraft using the game's robust building system, combining wood planks, Zonai devices, and shrine-acquired items. Many are pushing the boundaries, even attempting to create functional war machines.

Early vehicle construction is highly recommended, as traversing Hyrule on horseback proves time-consuming. Planes and ground vehicles allow for efficient exploration of both the skies and the vast landscape. With Tears of the Kingdom's expanded map, encompassing the Depths and Sky Islands, a vehicle is practically essential for comprehensive exploration.

Reddit user ryt1314059 showcased their impressive creation: a highly maneuverable and swift cruiser. This warship boasts two automatically targeting Zonai cannons, ensuring effective combat against nearby foes. Its impressive agility allows for swift direction changes in water, despite its size. The build utilizes planks, cannons, fans, homing carts, a battery, and railings, all readily available near the Construct Factory.

Tears of the Kingdom Player Builds Amazing Warship

The cruiser's design incorporates railings connecting cannons and planks, significantly enhancing maneuverability and torque for easier coastal exploration. Zonai fans positioned between planks act as propellers, providing wind-powered thrust. Most components are obtainable from Zonai device dispensers, with railings being the exception.

Players can utilize various Zonai items—fans, hover stones, steering sticks, etc.—to add functionality to their creations. Each device provides unique capabilities, allowing for diverse vehicle designs. These items are crucial for solving puzzles scattered across the game world and are easily acquired by spending Zonai charges at gachapon machines frequently found on Sky Islands.

Beyond Zonai devices and shrine rewards, Tears of the Kingdom offers powerful abilities like Ultrahand, Recall, and Fuse, enabling item combination and intricate structure building. These abilities, unlocked through shrine completion, are instrumental in attaching objects to shields and weapons, further enhancing building possibilities.
