HoYoverse has unveiled the upcoming 1.4 update for Zenless Zone Zero, titled "A Storm of Failing Stars," launching December 18th across all platforms. This update marks a pivotal moment in the game's narrative, introducing new characters, challenging combat modes, and expanded story content.

The climactic chapter of the year unfolds with the arrival of two new Section 6 Agents: Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa. Players will explore new areas like Port Elpis and the Reverb Arena as the mystery surrounding Vision Corporation and the Sacrifice deepens. Chapter 5 promises revelations about Perlman, Wise, and Belle's pasts, while New Eridu's Public Security faces a crucial leadership election.

Players will team up with Section 6 to investigate these mysteries in Port Elpis, encountering new threats along the way. Each new Agent brings unique combat skills:

Hoshimi Miyabi: A graceful fighter wielding an Ethereal-Slaying Katana and utilizing Frost Anomaly powers for devastating attacks.
Asaba Harumasa: A versatile combatant who seamlessly blends electric strikes with bow and blade techniques. His OVA provides insight into his background. Significant combat enhancements include the Hollow Zero: Shadows Lost mode and the Deadly Assault periodic operation.
