Ten years of tranquil Sims life comes to an end as burglars return to the neighborhood! The Sims 4 developers have announced a highly anticipated (though perhaps not universally welcomed) update in their latest blog post.
Just like in previous games, installing a security system offers protection. When triggered, the police swiftly arrive to apprehend the culprit. Skilled Sims can enhance the system, improving reliability and enabling automatic police alerts. Without an alarm, players can attempt a direct call to the police, hoping for a timely response. Alternatively, a more amicable approach, befriending the burglar, is also an option.
For those with expansion packs, more imaginative solutions exist: unleashing the fury of dogs, spellcasters, vampires, or werewolves upon the intruder, or even freezing them solid with a specialized ray. These unconventional methods, however, require the relevant expansion packs.
