Onimusha: Way of the Sword – A 2026 Release
Set in the Edo period, this new Onimusha title features a new protagonist wielding an Oni Gauntlet to combat Genma. Development prioritizes compelling characters, engaging enemies, and a historically accurate recreation of Kyoto. The gameplay aims for challenging yet accessible sword combat.
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remaster – Coming in 2025
Capcom is remastering the 2002 classic, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, slated for release in 2025.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 Details
The second Open Beta for Monster Hunter Wilds introduces the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging new quest. Other additions include a Gypceros Hunt, a training area, Private Lobbies, and Online Single Player mode. Data from the first Beta can be transferred. The Beta runs:
- Thursday, February 6, 7 PM PT – Sunday, February 9, 6:59 PM PT
- Thursday, February 13, 7 PM PT – Sunday, February 16, 6:59 PM PT
Character data transfers to the full game (February 28th release), but progress does not. Participants receive a special Pendant.
