To reach the Cat Island, you'll need to progress to the Omi region, roughly halfway through the main storyline. Ensure your character is sufficiently leveled and ready for the challenges ahead. From there, head northeast to locate Omi.
The island is nestled in Lake Biwa, the expansive lake dominating the region's center. For efficient travel, commandeer a boat from settlements like Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, the more adventurous can try swimming (though we don't recommend it!).
Your destination is the larger island in the lake's northwest, near Azuchi. Upon arrival, you'll discover Okishima, complete with a Kakurega for a well-deserved rest. The abundance of dried fish near the docks hints at the island's feline residents.
