Pokémon Go's February Community Day: Karrablast, Shelmet, and Exciting Bonuses!

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! February's Community Day event details are here, featuring Karrablast and Shelmet! The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Spotlight Pokémon:

Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching them – and even their Shiny variants! The real excitement lies in their evolutions. Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms/Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Event Research:

A Special Research event offers encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A Timed Research event follows, lasting a week after the main event. Logging in during Community Day unlocks tasks providing further encounters with these special Pokémon.

Community Day Bonuses:

Prepare for boosted rewards! Enjoy 3x XP for catching Pokémon, double Candy, and a doubled chance for Candy XL from catches (Trainers level 31 and above). Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) will last three hours. Plus, a photographic surprise awaits – snap some pictures to discover it!
